Where Flip Alerts runs

Flip Alerts is this website, getflipalerts.com, plus the alert emails and Discord messages it sends. There is no Flip Alerts iPhone app and no Android app: nothing is sold through the App Store or Google Play. Paid plans are bought on this website through Stripe's checkout.

What we keep

• Your email address, to send sign-in links and the alert emails you asked for.
• Your saved searches (keywords, prices, marketplaces, the zip code or city you typed).
• Your Discord webhook address, if you add one, to post your alerts there.
• The alerts we sent you (listing title, price, place and link) for 14 days, so your page can show them.
• If you pick a paid plan: your Stripe customer and subscription references, the plan and its dates. Card details go to Stripe, not to us.
• A one-way hash of your IP address and email for up to a day, to stop sign-up abuse.
• The link tag you arrived with, if any (the s= part of a link, such as ?s=reddit), stored with your account and your checkout, and daily counts of sign-ups and checkouts per tag, so we know which links bring people.
• If you answer “Where did you hear about us?” after signing up: a daily count for each answer. Your answer only adds one to that count; it is not kept with your email or your account.

In your browser

One cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser's storage keeps the link tag you arrived with and the plan you picked, and, in the open tab only, the words and email you typed in the first step, so the next step can fill them in. Nothing else.

What we do not keep

No passwords, no marketplace accounts, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in. From the marketplaces we keep only what an alert needs: title, price, place, time and the link. Never seller names, messages or contact details.

Who sees it

Cloudflare runs the site and stores the data. Google's Gmail sends our emails. Stripe handles payments. Discord receives alerts only for the webhook you gave us. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Your choices

Stop emails with the link in any alert email. Delete a search on your page. To delete everything about you, write to amanahkeep+flipalerts@gmail.com from your address and we remove it within 7 days.
